[Accommodation agreement]

 

 

Duet Resort (hereinafter referred to as the “Villa for rent”)

 

Article 1 (Scope of Application)

  1. Accommodation contracts and related contracts to be concluded between this rental villa and guests shall be governed by the provisions of this agreement.

  2. If the rental villa accepts a special agreement within the scope of laws and customs, the special agreement shall take precedence regardless of the provisions of the preceding paragraph.

Article 2 (Application for accommodation contract)

  1. A person who intends to apply for an accommodation contract with this rental villa shall provide the following items to this rental villa.

  • Guest name

  • Date of stay

  • Accommodation fee (according to Duet Resort's price list in principle)

  • Other matters deemed necessary by the rental villa

  2. If the guest requests to continue staying beyond the number of days specified in item 2 of the preceding paragraph during the stay, the rental villa will make a new request at the time the request is made.       _cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-56dcf53       _cc781905-5cde-3194-bbd5cf58d_13

 

Article 3 (Establishment of accommodation contract, etc.)

  1.   The accommodation contract shall be concluded when the rental villa accepts the application in the preceding article. However, this does not apply when it is proved that the rental villa did not consent. ​

  2. When an accommodation contract has been concluded in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the accommodation fee shall be paid by the date specified by the villa.

  3.   If the accommodation charges in paragraph 2 are not paid by the date specified by this rental villa in accordance with the provisions of the same paragraph, the accommodation contract will become invalid.

  4. However, this is limited to cases where the rental villa has notified the guest to that effect when specifying the due date for payment of the deposit.

Article 4 (Refusal to conclude an accommodation contract)

  1.   4.   • Organized crime groups stipulated in Article 2, Item 2 of the Law Concerning Prevention of Unfair Acts by Gang Members (Law No. 77 of 1991) (hereinafter referred to as "gangsters") and organized crime groups stipulated in Article 2, Item 6 of the same article Members (hereinafter referred to as “members of organized crime groups”), associate members of organized crime groups, persons related to organized crime groups, and other anti-social forces

  7.   8, When accommodation cannot be provided due to natural disasters, facility failures, or other unavoidable reasons.  

                                        

Article 5 (Guest's Right to Cancel Contract)

  1. The guest may cancel the accommodation contract by making a request to this rental villa.

  2. If the guest cancels the accommodation contract in whole or in part due to reasons for which the guest is responsible, the guest will be charged a cancellation fee according to the cancellation charges for each rental villa on the Duet Resort website.

Article 6 (Right to cancel the contract of this rental villa)

  1. The rental villa may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases.

  • When it is recognized that the guest may commit acts contrary to the provisions of laws and regulations, public order or good morals, or when it is recognized that the guest has committed such acts.

  • When the Guest is deemed to fall under any of the following Iroha.

  5. When a violent request is made regarding accommodation, or when a burden exceeding a reasonable range is requested.

  6. When accommodation cannot be provided due to force majeure reasons such as natural disasters, disasters, incidents, etc.

  7. Smoking in bed in the room/bedroom, tampering with fire-fighting equipment, and other prohibited items in the rules of use stipulated by this rental villa (things necessary for fire prevention_cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_      ).

Article 7 (Registration of accommodation)

  1. The guest shall register the following particulars at the reception desk of the villa on the day of accommodation.

  •  guest name, address and phone number

  •  Other matters deemed necessary by the rental villa

Article 8 (Hours of use of rental villas)

  1. The guest can use the villa for rent from 3:00 p.m. to 10:30 a.m. the next day. However, in the case of consecutive stays, it is possible to use it all day except for the day of arrival and departure. ​

Article 9 (Compliance with Usage Rules)

  1. The guest shall comply with the terms of use established by this rental villa within the premises of this rental villa.

Article 10 (Payment of fees)

  1. The breakdown of the accommodation charges, etc. that the guest must pay is as listed in the duet resort and each rental villa price list on this website.

  2. Payment of the accommodation charges, etc. in the preceding paragraph shall be made by bank transfer by the date specified by the rental villa.

  3. Accommodation charges shall be charged even if the guest voluntarily does not stay after the rental villa has been provided to the guest and has become available for use.

Article 11 (Responsibility of this rental villa)

  1. When this rental villa causes damage to the guest in fulfillment of the accommodation contract and related contracts, or in the failure to fulfill them, we will compensate for the damage. However, this shall not apply if it is due to reasons not attributable to the villa for rent.

  2. This rental villa is covered by liability insurance in order to deal with unexpected fires.

Article 12 (Storage of Guest's Baggage or Belongings)

In the event that the guest's luggage or belongings are left behind at the guesthouse after the guest has checked out, the guesthouse shall request instructions when the owner is identified. However, if there is no instruction from the owner or if the owner is unknown, we will keep it for 7 days including the date of discovery and then dispose of it. However, food and drink and disposable tools will be disposed of on the day.

Article 13 (Responsibility for Parking)

When a guest uses the parking lot of this rental villa, the rental villa is only lending the space and is not responsible for the management of the vehicle. We are not responsible for any accidents while you are out.

Article 14 (Responsibilities of Guests)

Article 15 (Companion Pets)

  1. Pets must be legally vaccinated and free of disease. Click here for details→pet

  2. When using this rental villa, the guest shall be responsible for all management responsibility for accidents, illnesses, lost children, troubles with pets when going out, etc., and this rental villa will not take any responsibility.

  3. It is forbidden to leave the house alone with pets.
